President Of The USA: The Choice Is Clear

This is a critical election year.

The choices could hardly be more stark.

Barack Hussein Obama (go ahead and arrest me, but I will write his entire name!) is not fit to be the President of the United States of America.

He claims that Republicans are trying to play to racism and fear. But examining the truth is not racism or fear-mongering.

Barack Hussein Obama (yeah, I did it again!) comes from a troubling background, and I am concerned with what has shaped this man, and who he is.

His father, Barack Obama, Sr., of Kenya, was a Muslim and a polygamist, married to Kezia in Kenya, by whom he had a child. He abandoned them to move to the USA, where he married Barack Hussein's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, pregnant with Barack, Jr., without divorcing his first wife.

The father abandoned Barack and his mother. She divorced him, marrying another Muslim, Lolo Soetoro, of Indonesia, Barack's step-father. They moved to Indonesia, the most populous Muslim country in the world. There, Barack received Muslim training from the Koran, the Islamic holy book. Barack's father married Ruth Nidesand, and returning to Kenya, had children by her and his first wife. His mother and step-father divorced.

Barack's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro, had very leftist views. (Leftist means leaning socialist and/or communist.) She reared Barack Obama to embrace all religions and to hold extremely liberal social views. This became evident when he remarked to "Joe the plumber" that the government needs to tax those who make a good income to "spread the wealth". This is socialism--you take from those who earn money and give it to those who do not. (I am for a voluntary redistribution of wealth, as the Bible teaches, and not for a forced redistribution! - bp)

As a "community organizer", he taught poor people how to agitate and protest to get what they wanted. (This is how socialists and communists operate--instead of teaching people to work for themselves, and try to get ahead, they teach them to band together to threaten others if they don't get what they want!)

He kept company with William "Bill" Ayers, a co-founder of the Weathermen Underground, a communist terrorist group, although he denies it, pretending that he only knew him because he lived in the neighborhood. Bill Ayers--by his own admission--is a terrorist from the 1970s and 1980s, who bombed the Pentagon, the Capital, and the NYC Police Department as part of a campaign to destroy our government and way of life. He also planned to attack Fort Dix to kill soldiers and destroy property. His regret? In 2001, he said that he regretted that they did not do more than the 20 or so bombings that they carried out!

Barack Obama launched his Illinois political career in the home of Bill Ayers and fellow terrorist, and wife, Bernadine Dohrn. Just a casual acquaintance with a man in the neighborhood!?!

They also crossed paths many times as regards the Annenberg Challenge, where Obama was on the board and which financed programs championed by the leftist, Ayers, according to this CNN article:

For twenty years, Obama sat in the pews at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, listening to the anti-American, hate-filled, racist rants of Jeremiah Wright. Now, Obama says that he never heard what his preacher said? Could you sit in a church for twenty years, listening to such vitriolic spewings and not hear them?!? He performed the Obamas' marriage and baptized their children.

Wright's hateful rhetoric is often defended by his and Obama's supporters in the press and media as "Black Liberation Theology", and was to be expected and accepted. NOT ONE REPORTER OR COMMENTATOR that I heard on Fox News during these defenses questioned or explained what that meant!

In short, it paints white Americans as racist and arrogant, and promotes "agitation" (community organizing!) as a partial answer. Whites do not care what happens to blacks in America, the theology goes, and since God is for the poor and oppressed, He is on their side! Capitalism is at the root of the problem, so what alternative is there? Socialism, anyone? Marxism? Communism?

According to a www.cnn.com piece, http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/04/29/wright.bio/, about Wright, he admitted that he and Barack Obama discussed the need for Obama to distance himself from him. In other words, they planned ahead of time to pretend that their relationship was not as close as it was. Change, anyone? Hope?

Then, Wright's church gave an award to Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam., saying that he "truly epitomized greatness". The anti-white, anti-Jewish Nation of Islam wants black Muslims to have their own Islamic nation by taking part of the land of America and separating it for their Islamic nation, per their site: http://www.noi.org/muslim_program.htm.

What about Obama's ties to ACORN? He helped train them in "community organizing". This is the group that keeps fraudulently registering to vote names that include dead people, pets, cartoon characters, ball players, and the like.

Finally, consider that Barack Hussein Obama has been dubbed the most liberal senator by the National Journal, which ranks senators each year. His politics puts him to the left of Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy!

He opposed bans on partial birth abortion. He is a staunch supporter of Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose to kill her unborn child.

He supports the right for cities and states to ban gun ownership, even though the Bill of Rights assures the right for citizens to bear arms--which, by the way, was not merely for hunting, but also to overthrow a possible tyrannical government!

He also says that the world will become peaceful because he will sit down without pre-conditions with tyrannical, America-hating leaders of countries that have expressed a desire for the destruction of the USA!

I could go on, but this is enough to show that Barack Hussein Obama is not right for America. His leftist (socialist) politics and philosophies will undermine our freedoms. His lack of experience and his naiveté will lead us into dangers and down roads that we don't need to embrace.

Here Is How Muslims Conquer Other Countries

I have written several times about how Muslims conquer other countries. They settle in the country that they want to conquer, then they build up the population through birth and through immigration, both legal and illegal. Once the population is substantial, they enact Islamic Sharia law (religious law) in their community, disregarding the laws of the host country.

When the population is large enough, strong enough, well-trained, and well-supplied with weapons, they turn on the host country and take control of the government by force. Even if they are beaten back at first, they then use this attack on their people as justification for jihad, or holy war, against the host government. The attack on their community strengthens their religious resolve and fuels religious fervor so that they dig in to fight for centuries, if need be.

All the while, they whine and complain about mistreatment by others, as if they are being unfairly targeted, when the truth is that others are desperately fighting to retain their own sense of nationality and culture, lest it be swept away and replaced by harsh Islamic religion and culture.

Democrats Hypocritical On Religion!

When Mike Huckabee gave a Christmas message in front of a bookcase that gave the appearance of a sort of cross, Democrats and the liberal mainstream media were quick to condemn this as an obvious, shameless use of religion in politics.

In Kentucky, Barrack Hussein Obama's campaign is handing out fliers with a photograph of Obama in a church pulpit with a cross and organ behind him. It mentions his "Christianity" on the flier.

Where is the outrage of the Democrats and the mainstream media over this overt and blatant use of religion in politics? They are silent, as usual, when it involves one of their own.

Democrats have complained for years that conservative pastors mention issues from the pulpit, yet during those same election cycles people like Bill Clinton, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson were frequently giving political speeches during church services.

It is time that Christian pastors speak out loudly on religious issues confronting the nation. After all, the Democrats and liberals shamelessly shop their religion for votes.

The Islamic Threat Continues!

The Islamic (Muslim) threat continues unabated. This year, there have been reports of violence in three provinces of southern Thailand as Muslims there want independence from Thailand. The Muslims--often referred to by the media as "ethnic Albanians"--in Kosovo are declaring their independence from Serbia.

Muslims in states of Russia, like Chechnya and the surrounding states, want independence from Russia. Muslim terrorism continues in Indonesia, as well as in Nigeria, and other African nations. The uproar continues in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, all Muslim dominated nations. Muslim atrocities continue in Sudan.

Meanwhile, Muslims in Canada and Great Britain insist that Muslim law, called sharia, take precedence over--nay, replace--the laws of those countries.

Anyone who thinks that the Muslim threat to free societies is over is not paying attention to news from around the world! I have explained in the past how Muslims work. They settle heavily in a given area, insist that since the area is majority Muslim that Islamic law must apply, and then they declare their independence from the host country. Once independent, their citizens move across the border into another country, often the same one from which they broke, settling heavily again, and again declaring independence.

If they do not get independence, they kill and blow things up until they get their way. All they while they claim discrimination and genocide, and such ridiculous claims, to get world sympathy on their side.

The threat continues, and we all must stay aware of it. Support those politicians who acknowledge that the problem has not gone away!

2008 Looms

The 2008 election does not seem to be shaping up as the pundits and mainstream media wished it to be. Obama and Huckabee upset the applecart in Iowa.

People want change in Washington, DC. I know, because I also want change. I am tired of the slugfest politics of the past twenty years. I want a positive direction for this country, while being protected. I want the candidates to tell me how they propose to do that.

I don't want to hear about some incident back in kindergarten.

How do you plan to secure the borders and stop illegal immigrants from taking up residence in our country? How do you plan to fend off Islamic terrorism? How do you plan to get affordable medical coverage to the average person? How can you reign in runaway medical costs? When and how are we going to get serious about switching away from the use of so much petroleum fuel?

I want you to get real, really quick.

Stop sniping and start explaining.

The political establishment candidates apparently don't have the answers. The people will look elsewhere. 2008 looms!

Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration is ripping our country apart--literally. Socialists are coming down on the side of favoring open borders and illegal aliens living openly and freely among us. Conservatives are saying that these people must all be rounded up and deported.

Sadly, in many cases, those who claim to be Christians are taking one or the other of these extreme views.

The Bible teaches moderation. Is there not a third, middle way on this serious issue? Why not force all illegal aliens who are living within our borders to register for a guest worker program, give them a deadline by which to do so, and then deport them if they refuse to comply?

Limit the time that the guest worker pass is valid, then require them to leave the country and apply to re-enter. In the meantime, this would clear the way for others to take their places and have a shot at earning money here in the United States?

Guest workers should not be extended American citizenship. Rather, they must apply for that through normal channels. A guest worker should be just that--a guest, and a worker.

Speak English! Having two "official" languages not only divides the country, but opens the door for others to insist that they do not have to learn English, either, but should be dealt with in their native languages.

Our borders must be secure, and those living among us illegally should be accounted for. The Bible does teach that we are to obey the civil government for our own protection. Being here illegally means that the civil law is broken. By the way, that is why the socialist Democrats want to call them undocumented immigrants, rather than illegal aliens. Entry with lack of documentation is, in fact, illegal!

Note to illegal Hispanic advocates and militants: alien does not mean space invader--get a good dictionary and study the root word!

I Am Sick To Death Of Politics

I am sick to death of politics. After the last election, I felt as if I could throw up, and I mean that literally. The Democrats, led by leftists and socialists, follow an established policy and procedure favored by the Nazis of World War II, and other tyrannical groups and individuals: if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.

Sadly, conservatives and Republicans have never seemed to understand this, and have never effectively countered this tactic.

The Republican leadership in Congress outspent the big-spending Democrats, and swelled the federal bureaucracy even larger, intruding into even more aspects of the individual's life, and personal freedoms.

We need smaller and less intrusive government. The purpose of the federal government is primarily to protect us from our enemies. Beyond that, the states should be running the show for most other items on the political agenda of both parties.

If the states held sway, as they should, it would be easy for a person who is outnumbered in his or her own state to vote with their feet, moving to a state that is more acceptable. However, with the federal government delving ever deeper into our personal matters, and even our religion, that option is quickly disappearing.

I was thrilled when President Bush ran as a "compassionate conservative". He has behaved more like a compassionate liberal. Conservative politicians need to learn that not every person who desires to be rich has the ability to accomplish that. This means that our country has many poor people, and struggling people, who need a hand up, not always a handout--although that is appropriate in extreme cases.

When the Republican elite thumbs its nose at the rest of the party (the poor and the struggling), they have nowhere else to turn but to the socialist Democrats. If you want to save our country from this diseased political venture (socialism), become compassionate while still being conservative! This compassion should play out mostly on the state and local level, where the true needs are understood and can be rightly addressed.

I sometimes wonder if it is time for a strong third party--a Christian party. This would force the Republicans, and some Democrats, to work with them to achieve anything in Congress.

Christians Should Vote

Liberals (Democrats) have the October Surprise down pat. This is a tactic used right before an election to try to persuade voters.

This year, as in recent elections, the liberals are trying to scare Christians into not voting. They unearthed the nasty Mark Foley business, and unleashed it just weeks prior to the election to turn off Christian voters.

They are hoping that we will stay home on November 7. Don't let them get away with it.

Some of my Christian friends have fallen for this trap, and are cynically declaring that all politicians are corrupt, so what is the point?

Why do you think that the Democrats went on and on, endlessly, about Republicans and "the culture of corruption". Corruption has been the Democrats middle name for as long as I can remember. Their efforts to paint Republicans as corrupt also is intended to depress the Christian vote.

If you are a Christian, and you stay home on election day, the liberals will have won with their dirty tactics.

Remember who appointed the liberal courts that gave us such things as abortion, homosexual rights, separation of church and state, and other unnatural and unpleasant renderings of the law and the constitution? Who funds the ACLU and other left-wing organizations? And which politicians do these left-wing organizations support? It is a revolving door of special left-wing interest groups and liberal politicians.

Do you really want Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Charles Rangel, John Murtha, Joe Biden, and the likes to these appointing justices and legislating our laws?

How do you feel about putting out the welcome mat for terrorists, as the Democrats have virtually done in the past?

Christians need to vote--and we need to vote for those who will protect our country, our values, our rights, and our freedoms.

Vital Election: World At War

The upcoming mid-term elections are vital, not only to conservatives in this country, but to democracy around the world. The world is at war, although many citizens and leaders of various countries deny this fact.

The Democrat party in America is taking the stance that if we will just talk to the Islamic fascists, they will go away. They say that if Israel will just give up the West Bank and Gaza, the "Arab street" will simmer down and all will be well. Or is it if Israel will give up the West Bank, Gaza, the Golan Heights, and Shebaa Farms? Or was it if Israel will disband itself as a country, and turn it over to the "Palestinians"?

Every time the Muslims pick up a piece of real estate, they immediately move on to (literally onto) the next piece that the want--including that occupied by you and me, and freedom loving people the world over.

The Islamists do not want any Christians or Jews alive, nor any other religious body, like Hindu and Buddhist. They do not want a secular society. They want sharia, the extremist and repressive religious government of Islam.

It is not looking good for conservatives this fall. The Democrats and their rich supporters like George Soros, Tim Gill, Michael Moore, and many others, are pushing a socialist./communist agenda. Sadly, our country is already widely under the influence of communist thinking disguised as socialism.

The Democrats don't seem to get it. Why not?

Most of it has already been accomplished. The political party that they commandeered was the Democrat party, and now they are working overtime on the Republican party to do the same. A liberal Supreme Court of the USA over the past few decades has played an important role in bringing the communist goals to fruition, as have groups like the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), the NEA (National Education Association), and others.

Many voters stay home in mid-term elections. That will be a disaster for conservatives. However, the Democrats pound away at Republicans as being corrupt and immoral! They blast our President on a daily basis. By nibbling away at the Republican base to stay away from the polls, and swinging independent voters to their way of thinking, they just may win back control of Congress, and in 2008, the White House.

While the Democrats, under George Soros, Howard Dean, and other rich left-wing fanatics, merrily turn America into a communist bastion, they ignore the peril of Islamic fascism as it takes on the world in a new, ideological war. The champions of pornography, homosexuality, and legal drug use will be many of the first to be lined up to have their heads sawed off when the Muslims take over the country.

Illegal Immigration

I just read a commentary that stated that conservative Christians are quiet on the immigration issue. Several reasons were given, including the complexity of the matter.

Some decisions in life are difficult. However, the difficulty does not lie in determining what is right or wrong, but rather in deciding to do the right thing.

Illegal immigration is wrong. The Bible clearly teaches that laws of the nation in which one resides are to be observed. Immigrants are not supposed to be here in an illegal capacity. Some religious leaders state that when the Law of God contradicts the Law of Man, then it is God's law that must be obeyed. That is true. However, they use the excuse of compassion to support illegal immigrant's so-called "rights".

Those who migrate to the United States of America do so because they see an opportunity that does not exist in their own countries. The USA has a mechanism for applying for legal status to be in the country. It must be followed. Obey the laws of the land.

But what of compassion? Are we to fence poor people out, who merely seek to work here to improve their lot in life? It would be a simple thing to pass a new law allowing worker visas for those who wish to work here for a season during the year, or who wish to work here for a few years, and then return home. They should not remain here permanently unless they apply for, and receive, American citizenship through the normal channels.

There are many people worldwide who wish to legally come to America, and are applying to do so. Their cases should be considered ahead of the cases of any who are here now, illegally, who may wish to apply for citizenship.

Our government needs to work with the governments of Mexico and other countries to encourage them to create thriving economies within their own borders, in order to slow the tide of illegal immigration into the USA. That would be more compassionate than sheltering illegal immigrants once they get here. Their native country should be a country of opportunity.

I have a novel idea. Why don't Mexico, and any of the Central and South American countries who push their poor citizens our way, apply to become part of the United States of America? We could then open our borders to one another, and allow the free flow of traffic back and forth. We could also clean up their corrupt governments that now exist, and provide opportunities to the people where they presently live!

Immigration, yes! Illegal immigration, no!

The Washington Merry-Go-Round

The election of 2006 is not looking good for conservatives.

There are several reasons, and none of them are especially new. Probably the number one cause is the fact that the Democrats hammer away incessantly at the Bush administration, and Republican leaders in both the Senate and the House. I am sick to death of hearing their mantra of "Bush lied" and "culture of corruption". Our entire country is inundated in a culture of culture of corruption, but it is the one put in place by the liberals and leftists since the 1930s on. For some reason, the Republicans choose to allow this destructive hammering to take place without invoking truth to counteract it. After a while, the old view that "if a lie is repeated enough times, it will be believed" holds true.

Why don't conservatives repeat the truth enough times to have it believed? We don't seem to get it!

High gas prices will also likely boost liberal numbers in the house and the Senate. Republicans prefer to mutter, "it's the free market economy of supply and demand" while the big oil companies chortle over record profits--which are beating other recent record profits. Meanwhile, poor and middle-class folk are having a hard time getting to work, the store, the doctor, and church. The Republicans say, "They don't seem to be complaining much" and "Price doesn't matter--they just keep buying it!" Meanwhile, since everything is affected by the cost of fuel these days, prices on everything are going up. The backlash at the polls is quickly building behind the scenes and under the Republican politicians' radar screen.

Why don't Republicans, instead of merely giving lip service, pull out all the stops on alternative energy development, oil production and refining, and fuel economy? They would be seen as the party that is doing something about the problem, instead of the one that is ignoring it.

Illegal immigration is of utmost importance to our country, our culture, our language, and our economy. We are rapidly becoming a bi-lingual country, and that is never good, because those who speak different languages do not succeed as one nation. One or both sides invariably decides that they are not truly the same as the other, and needs to be independent. Add to that the danger of terrorists crossing the border, the breakdown of law and order--resulting in chaos, and the push by certain Mexican illegal immigrants to "take back" the western and southwestern United States for Mexico, and there is a terrible confrontation rapidly growing. Republicans are weak on this issue. They fear the rejection of Hispanic voters. Instead, the liberals and leftists will retake the government this year, and in 2008, and will make all the illegal immigrants Democrat-voting citizens! Of course, since many leftists welcome the dissolution of the USA because they fear that it is "too big and powerful" in world, they welcome the move to break the USA apart.

Homosexual "rights" and "marriage" are scaring the conservative politicians to death. They are afraid to take on this lobby, and stand to alienate their voting base. Because they will not represent the values of the majority of Americans, conservative voters will stay home rather than vote.

Abortion is another area where the conservative politicians constantly back-pedal and dilly-dally. They are afraid of the powerful feminists' lobbying groups, so they do not take a stand for what the majority of Americans believe--that abortion on demand is immoral, and should be illegal.

Finally, the Republicans have replaced the "tax-and-spend" Democrats as the "reduce taxes-and-spend" Republicans. The US owes too much and has too many obligations. We waste too much on pork-barrel projects, and by handing tax money out to a corrupt UN and to the very nations whose citizens are plotting the destruction of America.

The Republicans in Washington had a rare chance to lead this country and instead chose to squander their political capital. They will be replaced.

Separation Of Child And Parent

I was a product of the American public school system during the 1960s, and I saw a disturbing trend emerging then. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, I attended college for four years, and I saw that the disturbing trend had become a reality.

Liberal interests have worked hard in this country since the 1950s and 1960s to indoctrinate students of the public school system in the ways of socialism and leftist thinking.

Important to this goal was the separation of child and parent. Or, more specifically, the severing of the bonds between generations. There was much ado in the 1960s of a "generation gap". This was a fictitious, fabricated gap. Its goal was to persuade teen boys and girls not to listen to their parents. The parents were said to be "out of touch", "old-fashioned", "superstitious", and "ignorant".

What they meant to do was to build a wall of separation between child and parent. By doing this, the liberals could then infuse the youngsters with their ideology, convincing the young men and women that it was "the new way", "the progressive way", and the "enlightened way".

This is still going on in public schools. They take the children at ever-younger ages, calling it kindergarten, and pre-school. The indoctrination begins early. They teach them that two male or two female parents is normal, and just fine. They teach them that children having sexual relations is okay, because it is "normal". Then, when the teenagers get pregnant because that they have been encouraged to engage in sexual encounters, they tell them that it is permissible to kill that unborn child, because it is a "woman's choice".

God has no place in the schoolroom, they--and we--are told. Yet, the religious doctrine of evolution--that unproven theory with its perpetually elusive "missing link" is taught as science.

When I was in college in recent years, any conservative suggestion that I made was ridiculed and derisively dismissed by the professors.

There never was a generation gap, except in the minds of liberals and leftists. They created it to turn the minds of the young from the religion and the wisdom of their experienced parents. They meant to break the chain of wisdom passed from generation to generation--and they have largely succeeded.

We need to take back our schools, and our children's educations. We need to teach respect for our elders again, as is common in most societies. Experience should count for something, and wisdom not passed on means lessons not learned until too late.

Louis Farrakhan Is Dangerous!

Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam in America, is a dangerous man. He tells his followers that, not only did the Bush administration blow up the levees in New Orleans in order to murder black people, he also contends that the destruction of the World Trade Center was the work of that same administration.

The mainstream media, which is so quick to purvey horror stories about the war in Iraq, and is constantly criticizing and finding fault with our President, is failing to cover the outrageous and incendiary remarks by Farrakhan. If left to continue his remarks without scrutiny by the media, Farrakhan stands to stir up a lot of hatred among black Muslims, against the government, and against white people.

Farrakhan has also charged that FEMA and the Red Cross are "too white" and deserve close oversight by liberal groups. In a time when the majority in both races seem to desire peace and equality, Farrakhan preys upon the discontentment of the poor and the festering hatred of blacks who claim victimhood.

The Nation of Islam is Muslim. Why is its leader stirring up suspicion and hatred of the government? If you review the history of the Nation of Islam, you will find the likes of Malcom X, and his call for a separate nation for the Nation of Islam. Malcom X called for a portion of the USA to be split off and given to black people so that they could form their own Islamic nation here in North America.

This is how "extremist" Muslims behave all over the world. They are not content to be a part of the nation in which they reside, and to abide by the laws of that nation. Instead, they insist on taking over the government. If they cannot do it peacefully, they resort to killing and terrorism.

Muslims Destroy Christianity

The Muslims of the world are determined to destroy Christianity. I have seen the handwriting on the wall for several years. In fact, I started this Web site in 1999, or thereabouts, because I saw what was happening. I was sounding the warning call about these "extremist Muslims" well before 09/11/2001.

President Clinton rushed the United States and NATO into the conflict in Kosovo and surrounding territories in order to stop "Christian" aggression against the "oppressed ethnic Albanians". What the American public was not told was that the professed Christians had been attacked repeatedly by Muslims. (I object to calling them ethnic Albanians, for that disguises what is really afoot.)

Lest we call them "Muslim extremists", allow me to point out that the rest of the Muslim community does not seem to have a problem with Muslims killing Christians, Jews, Hindus, and all other non-Muslims. If they do object, they keep it to themselves.

Today I read where the Muslims in Kosovo, with the UN standing idly by, have destroyed well over 100 Christian church buildings. Where is the international outcry over this aggression and persecution?

There is a pattern among Muslims. They populate an area, claim that they must have Muslim law (sharia, some call it) and cannot tolerate a secular government, then call for independence. Of course, that means a war against those who would govern them. Once they wage a bloody war, and win their independence, they move across the new border, settle in the adjoining country, and repeat the process all over again. In this way, nibbling away portions of countries bit by bit, they plan to subject the world to Muslim rule.

It's About Time!

Through the "compromise" of the "centrist 14" Senators, a few of President Bush's judicial nominees are finally getting the up-or-down vote in the Senate that they deserve. It's about time!

The Senate is supposed to "advise and consent", not "obstruct and prevent"! The vote in the full Senate is how that is achieved. Democrats and liberals know that their ideology is at stake. A majority of Americans has never been thrilled with the liberal agenda. They prove that by not sending too many dyed-in-the-wool liberals to run our government. When the liberals try to ram through their agenda, as did Hillary with her "Hillary Care" plan a few years back, the nation howls in protest.

About thirty-five to forty years ago, the liberals figured out that if they could not legislate socialism, they would enforce it by judicial fiat. As a result, we ended up with abortion on demand, homosexual activism, the removal of Christianity from the public square, and other awful decisions.

The liberals are scared to death that a U.S. Supreme Court that will interpret the Constitution in light of what the founders had in mind will shut down their liberal playground in the courts. It's about time!

Take A Stand!

It is important that people who have good morals take a stand against those who would destroy the world.

For years, I hovered in the background. A lot of this sprang from my religious upbringing, in which I was taught to be meek. Somehow, I equated meekness with weakness, and so I trekked through life silently, although I was upset by the course charted for this country by leftist liberals. Part of my timidity arose from the high school education that I got in eastern Kentucky where the school system was dominated by liberals, even in the 1960s. I was led to believe that the ACLU was a good thing. I was told that religious people should keep their faith to themselves, and not infringe upon the "rights" of others. I was quite naive and gullible.

As an adult, I worked hard, went to church, and kept my mouth shut in public. I watched a liberal US Supreme Court overturn the constitution, and replace it with liberal ideology.

Abortion became "legal", and millions of babies have been murdered as a result. The lives of women and families have been devastated from the trauma and the fallout from abortion.

Euthanasia is now being pushed as a logical follow-through since abortion was accepted. If you can kill helpless babies who are inconvenient, why not kill old people? Or mentally retarded people? Or sick people? Or badly injured people? Or groups of people deemed dangerous to the current society?

Divorce became "no fault", and half the country now gets divorced. Families are ripped apart, and good families are destroyed. Innocent spouses have their lives destroyed, and children grow up traumatized. (Take it from one who came from a "broken family"--divorce has a lifelong effect on children.)

Fornication, and adultery, have been glamorized and promoted. Commitment has been replaced with convenience. Sexually transmitted diseases are rampant. Many women can't have babies as a result. Innocent spouses are infected with diseases that can't be cured, only treated. HIV and AIDS are wreaking havoc. A new Super-HIV has just been discovered, one that resists treatment, and is fast-acting.

Homosexuality became the cause du jour for liberals. Once considered a crime, and a psychological aberration, it is now touted as a genetic trait, once that cannot be changed. Once considered a deliberate, ugly choice, it is now counted as "normal" by the liberals. They are now demanding the "right" to "marry".

Pornography, already a problem in this country, is more available than ever, and drives the commercial engine of the Internet. It is available to all, including our children. And they do find it--I know this for a fact. Young minds are forever warped by things that I can't even bring myself to discuss in these pages. Our society has become coarser and more dangerous as a result. There is a damaging loss of modesty, dignity, and respect.

The poor and needy are being neglected, even after decades of the liberals' "war on poverty". The poor need a hand up, not hand outs. They need good, moral education, starting first at home, then in school, and in higher education. They need help financing a good education. This country was based on the Christian principle of working to support your family, but it was also based upon the Christian principle of the wealthy using their resources to see the poor through hard times. Now we expect the "government" to take care of our needy neighbors. In this country, "we the people" are the government! We should help the needy voluntarily, and not through forced taxation. If every man would help his neighbor, no one need go hungry or naked, or without a place to call home.

Alcoholic over-indulgence is not only allowed in this country, but celebrated. The makers of alcoholic drinks promote them heavily. It is a part of the culture, a part of television and the Hollywood crowd. Drunks kill people, especially in this age of heavy travel in automobiles. Drunks ruin family life, and abuse spouses, and children. Why do we find this so glamorous?

Illegal drug use is something that the liberals promote constantly. Our liberal Supreme Court has tried to allow these drugs to become acceptable. Many of the promoters point to alcohol, saying that illegal drug use should be legalized. Do you think this country is on the wrong course now? What about when our politicians, soldiers, policemen, officials, and others are pumped up on drugs? God help us!

A few years ago I decided that I needed to speak out. My voice needed to heard. I started Free The People to do this. I also began to give God thanks for my food in public places, as well as at home. I began to say, "God bless you!" to people. I began to engage people in political discussions, couched in the terms of what Jesus, the Christ, and His apostles and disciples taught.

I did the unthinkable, and touched the dangerous third rail. I discussed not only religion and politics, the two untouchable subjects, but I combined them in my conversations with others. I am glad that I did.

The scriptures tell us to be meek, not weak. We are to serve others. We are to be kind and courteous. We are to be forgiving and loving. We are to be strong families, and good leaders to our children, setting good examples for them to follow. We are to plead the cause of the needy, and to assist those who are poor.

We must take a stand for righteousness, and be silent no longer. Speak out, get involved, be active--you will make a difference!

Bush Won! Now, Look Ahead!

The 2004 election is over, and President George W. Bush won re-election. I mean, he really won! He won the popular vote by around 3 million more votes than his opponent, John F. Kerry. He won the majority of the electoral college votes. He won more states (see maps that show "red" states for Bush as opposed to "blue" states for Kerry). He won more counties, representing more geographical territory.

Concern over the war on terrorism, the loss of morality and family values in this country, and the onslaught by homosexuals seeking to legitimize their relationships through "marriage" all galvanized the conservative voter base. These issues appealed across the board, attracting whites, blacks, Hispanics, and Asians alike. They appealed to the young, as well as to married housewives. They appealed to men of all colors.

The defense of this country from terrorists continues to loom large. This is of utmost importance, because the terrorists have been waging this un-Holy War for decades, and are killing innocent people all over the world. Every non-Muslim is their target.

The decline of morality has had religious people in this country wringing their hands for decades. However, many professed Christians refuse to vote. They should vote. The Lord has said that He expects His people to stand up for justice and righteousness, and to take up the cause of the poor, the helpless, and the innocent. Voting for upright men who will further this cause is one way for us to "speak up", and to take a stand.

And what of the most innocent of all--the unborn babies in their mothers' wombs? Shall we stand silently by and watch the murder of the unborn in that place that should be considered holy, and not merely a receptacle for the results of promiscuous sexuality? By electing the right men, maybe we can overturn Roe v. Wade, and bring back respect for life in the womb.

We made some inroads in 2004, but we need to engage in grassroots efforts for 2006. We need 60 or more Senators who will stand up for this country, and its citizens! We need men who will put judges in place who will uphold the Constitution, rather than re-writing it! Men who will legislate in a way to protect our citizens, especially the little unborn babies in the womb!

Talk to your family members, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers, your fellow students, and your church members. Remind them that voting is a way to speak out for the pure and the innocent in this country! Elect those who will represent us!

Why Kerry Should Not Be President

John F. Kerry is not fit to be President of these United States. His liberal supporters, in their Bush-hating frenzy, have unwisely chosen a questionable candidate. Here are the questions:

(1) Is John Kerry qualified to be Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces?

(A) Mr. Kerry offers as his credentials his "heroic" military service in Vietnam, in which he was given various medals, including three Purple Hearts.

Kerry came back from that war a political opportunist, and immediately became the spokesperson for the anti-war movement. In testimony before the Senate in 1971, he accused the entire American military of committing unthinkable atrocities in Vietnam. Here is what he said:

"I would like to talk, representing all those veterans, and say that several months ago in Detroit, we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged and many very highly decorated veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia, not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command. "

In an interview on NBC's Meet The Press in 1971, he included himself in those atrocities. Here is an excerpt: "There are all kinds of atrocities, and I would have to say that, yes, yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed..."

A powerful member of the Vietnam Veterans Against The War, Mr. Kerry found himself among communists, and other radicals who were planning the assassination of US government officials.

Mr. Kerry seemed to have an affinity for communists. In his remarks before the liberal Senate committee in 1971, he made several telling remarks:

"...we could not tell what went on in Vietnam, but we feel because of what threatens this country, the fact that the crimes threaten it, no reds, and not redcoats but the crimes which we are committing that threaten it, that we have to speak out. "

"But the issue, gentlemen, the issue is communism, and the question is whether or not we will leave that country to the communists or whether or not we will try to give it hope to be a free people.

But the point is they are not a free people now under us. They are not a free people, and we cannot fight communism all over the world, and I think we should have learned that lesson by now. "

"...direct reaction to this so-called Communist monolith."

"I think it is bogus, totally artificial. There is no threat. The Communists are not about to take over our McDonald hamburger stands. (Laughter)"

"Senator, I will say this. I think that politically, historically, the one thing that people try to do, that society is structured on as a whole, is an attempt to satisfy their felt needs, and you can satisfy those needs with almost any kind of political structure, giving it one name or the other. In this name it is democratic; in other it is communism; in others it is benevolent dictatorship. As long as those needs are satisfied, that structure will exist. "

He also met with North Vietnamese communists in Paris, France, in 1971, and tried to facilitate a turnover of South Vietnam to the communists. In his own words:

"I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh's points it has been stated time and time again, and was stated by Senator Vance Hartke when he returned from Paris, and it has been stated by many other officials of this Government, if the United States were to set a date for withdrawal the prisoners of war would be returned."

You might say that was the old Kerry. You would be wrong. At the 2004 DNC Convention, Kerry quoted from a poem, "Let America Be America Again", a poem by Langston Hughes, a dyed-in-the-wool communist.

Kerry also fought Ronald Reagan, when President Reagan wanted to help the Nicaraguans resist communist takeover.

In addition to his embrace of communism, Vietnam Veterans For Truth state that Kerry has misrepresented his military service, even calling into question how he received two of his three Purple Hearts. Two of the wounds may have been self-inflicted. At any rate, he quickly racked up three Purple Hearts in about 4-1/2 months, then headed stateside to carry out his anti-war, pro-communist bid for political office.

Kerry has repeatedly voted to cut military funding, to reduce the size of the military, to cut defense funding, to cut intelligence funding, and to reduce the intelligence community.

Kerry speaks of fighting a "sensitive" war on terrorism. Is it no surprise that the Muslim terrorists want a Kerry presidency? Kerry wants to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, and collaborate with his socialist European colleagues. He says that he has secret contacts among those leaders, and that he has a secret plan to fight terrorism. I suspect that it is so secret that Kerry himself doesn't know what it is!

(2) Will Kerry keep the country safe from terrorists?

(A) For all his blustering and bragging that the USA will be safer under a Kerry administration, Kerry occasionally lets slip the truth. He has recently begun to talk about treating terrorists as criminals, not as warriors. Bill Clinton tried that. It didn't work. Remember 9-11?

Kerry thinks that if he will appease the terrorists, they will leave the USA alone. He thinks wrongly. That will embolden the terrorists even more, when they see their strategy working. Their goal is world domination, and they seem content to achieve it by taking over one little piece of real estate at a time.

Muslim militants have openly declared war upon the USA, all westerners, and all non-Muslims who won't convert. Appeasement, Mr. Kerry, will not satisfy those bent on world domination.

(3) Will Kerry help the middle class and poor in America?

(A) Mr. Kerry has already promised to spend trillions of dollars on social programs and entitlements. Who will pay for these? The rich, you say, Mr. Kerry? I think not. The Democrats are socialists, and will not rest until they control the country's income--all of it! You see, socialists think that it is best to give them all of your money and worldly possessions, so that they might redistribute them as they see fit. That means that they will increase taxes on everyone to the extent that they can get away with it! Their track record proves it. They aren't known as tax-and-spend liberals for no good reason!

(4) Will Mr. Kerry champion the rights of the unborn--the most innocent and vulnerable human beings of all?

(A) Kerry says that he believes that life begins at conception, but that women should be allowed to abort (murder) their little babies at ANY point in their development, including as they are being born (partial-birth abortion).

If life begins at conception, then abortion is murder. But then, didn't Mr. Kerry say that he had committed atrocities in Vietnam? I suppose that he is used to this kind of inhumane behavior.

(5) Is Mr. Kerry non-partisan? Is he a uniter, as he claims?

(A) Kerry has viciously attacked a sitting President in a time of war. He has allowed liberal groups to fund Bush attack ads costing millions of dollars, but screamed "Foul!" when a conservative group ran an ad against him, costing a few hundred thousand dollars. Reminiscent of Al Gore in the 2000 election, he has lawyers working to shut the mouths of the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth. Television stations were threatened and intimidated, and the publisher of the group's book was threatened, also.

(6) Does Mr. Kerry represent the family values of the average American?

(A) Kerry is a staunch supporter of homosexuals at the same time that he claims that he is in support of marriage as being between one man and one woman. He is for abortion. He is soft on terrorism. He doesn't see much difference between communism and democracy.

Final question: Is Kerry fit to be President of the United States of America?

Answer: No!

NEA Supports Abortion

The teachers' union, the National Education Association (NEA), promotes abortion. Let me say that again, the teachers' union, the National Education Association (NEA), promotes abortion.

What's wrong with this picture?

First, it is a teacher's union. For most people, that would suggest workers banded together for a safe workplace, and to negotiate the highest wages and the most benefits that they can wrangle. But not the NEA. Their goal is not to merely negotiate better wages--they want to change the culture and choose the political leadership of the nation.

While the public school system remains a veritable and verifiable mess, they clamor for ever more money. Money for what? Money for salaries. They say that larger salaries attract better qualified teachers. The money doesn't go to educate the children--it goes to the teachers! The teachers pay dues. The dues buy ads for liberal, leftist politicians who promote cultural change.

Changes like abortion, and homosexuality, for instance. On abortion, read these NEA resolutions, as reported on the Web site of Teachers Saving Children, Inc.:

NEA Resolution I-12 was adopted in 1985, amended in 1986, and replaces a similar 1978 resolution. Resolutions represent the philosophy of the organization and thus become policy. Every year the NEA has continued to reaffirmed its pro-abortion position by approving Resolution I-12. It reads as follows:

"The National Education Association supports family planning, including the right to reproductive freedom.

The Association urges the government to give high priority to making available all methods of family planning to women and men unable to take advantage of private facilities.

The Association further urges the implementation of community-operated school-based family planning clinics that will provide intensive counseling by trained personnel."

I have personally tracked comments on the official NEA site for years, and can attest that they do promote both aboriton and homosexuality to, and among, our public school children!

We think that we are sending our children off to school to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic, but instead, they are learning more important issues like teenage sex, abortions, condom use, masturbation, and homosexuality!

The NEA is not for the proper general education of children. They are an extreme left-wing support arm for the Democrat party. Teachers need a viable alternatinve to this "bargaining unit", so that they can get back to the business of educating our children.

Of particular interest should be the fact that the NEA wants all children to be in the public school system. They argue against charter schools, home-schooling, and private schools. They also want them at a younger and younger age. Ostensibly, it is to give them a leg-up on education. (The fact that public education is failing belies that argument.) But their real agenda is that they want the children during their formative years in order to mold them into abortionists and homosexuals. They are already getting some of them as young as four years old.

I call on good teachers to get out of the political NEA and form a union dedicated to educating our children. I don't have a problem with you getting a good salary and benefits--I do have a problem with you brainwashing our children in leftist ideology.

Richard Clarke's Accusations

Richard Clarke, former counterterrorism adviser to Bill Clinton for about 5 years, and George W. Bush for a few months, is really letting the Bush administration have it with both barrels for not preventing the WTC terrorist attacks on 9-11-01. Promoting a new book, he is making the media rounds where he is lambasting the President and his cabinet and staff. The release of his vitriol corresponds with the release of his book. Many say that he obviously is trying to sell as many books as possible, and that he is why he is so vocal and visible. While I don't doubt that he wishes to sell as many books as possible, I find it incredible that the media talking heads are missing something more important.

Clarke is attempting to damage George W. Bush during his campaign for re-election. How do I know this? Clarke, who served under Clinton for several years, is livid that President Bush's staff did not heed his warnings of impending terrorist attacks on US soil. In testimony before the 9-11 Panel, he continues to rage.

According to Fox News Online, here is a part of his testimony:

"All the things we recommended in the plan, in our strategy … were those things on the table on September. They were done, they were done after Sept. 11," he said. "I didn't really understand why they couldn't have been done in February."

I am sick of the anti-Bush flame-thrower that Clarke is employing. I am also sick of the media repeating his absurd and unfounded claims. President Bush was sworn in on January 20, 2001. Mr. Clarke says that the new President should have listened, and acted upon Clarke's suggestions in February. I have an important question for Mr. Clarke.

Why weren't they enacted in early January, 2001, while Bill Clinton was still President? Or in December, 2000? Or November, 2000? Or September, 2000?

Clarke claims that the Bush administration would not listen to him, only instituting after September 11, 2001, those same policies that Clark had advised adopting in February, 2001. I have another question for Mr. Clarke.

Why didn't Bill Clinton listen to him? He served under Clinton beginning in 1995. During Clinton's years in office, America was repeatedly attacked by Islamic terrorists, once on American soil, at the World Trade Center! Most of these occurred on the Clinton/Clarke watch. Here is a list, compiled with help from a list on the Web site of FrontPage:

1993: Bombed the World Trade Center, killing 6, injuring 1000+
1993: Shot down US helicopters and killed US servicemen in Somalia
1994: Plotted to assassinate Pope John Paul II during his visit to Manila

1995: Plot to to bomb simultaneously, in midair, a dozen US trans-Pacific flights was discovered and thwarted at the last moment>
1996: Bombed Khobar Towers In Saudia Arabia, killing 19 Americna soldiers,and wounding hundreds more
1998: Conducted the bombings of the US Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, that killed at least 301 individuals and injured more than 5,000 others
1999: Attempt to carry out terrorist operations against US and Israeli tourists visiting Jordan for millennial celebrations was discovered just in time by Jordanian authorities
1999: In another millenium plot, bomber was caught en route to Los Angeles International Airport
2000: Bombed the USS Cole in the port of Aden, Yemen, killing 17 US Navy members, and injuring another 39

If Mr. Clarke is so incensed now, where was he during the Clinton years in the White House? Why no book then, and no vitriolic attacks on Clinton in the media? Why is he so forgiving of Clinton's neglect now, yet so adamant and strident in his accusations against President Bush? If the President who had been in power for 8 years, and had watched the country suffer through so many terrorist attacks, failed to follow Clarke's advice, why is he so upset that an incoming President, with so many matters on his plate, failed to act in the first few months of his Presidency?

Bill Clinton wasted his years as president philandering, and spent his outgoing weeks enacting unpopular, expensive, and hurtful Presidential decrees, as well as pardoning Democrat criminals like Marc Rich. Why doesn't Mr. Clarke doggedly savage former President Clinton in the same manner as current President Bush?

The answer is an easy one, and I am surprised that the media pundits are "failing" to see it--this is an election year, and the anti-Bush faction will stop at nothing to try to defeat him in November. They know that the President's strong suit is Homeland Defense and the war on terrorism. Clarke, along with his cohorts, are pulling out all the stops to take away Bush's advantage in this area.

If I can see this, why is everyone else so blind?

The Passion of the Christ

Mel Gibson's rendering of the crucifixion of Jesus--the Christ--is breaking box-office records. Critics have attacked the movie for about a year now, and finally it has been released. Those familiar with the scriptural account of the crucifixion will find the depiction very close to the Bible description. Aside from a few of Gibson's Catholic forays into such non-scriptural additions as the personal attendance of Satan in the garden at Gethsemane, and moving among the crowd wishing to crucify Jesus; the depiction of Simon the Cyrene in a role not described in the Bible; and the personal attention of a young woman who brings Him water during the grueling march to Calvary's brow; the movie in most other regards respects the teaching of the gospels.

Was this movie anti-Semitic, as the Jewish Anti-Defamation League claimed? No. There was no call for Christians to rise up and kill Jews. Let's be rational, here. Jesus was born a Jew by God's design. The promise to Abraham was that all nations of the earth would be blessed through his offspring, Jesus. The original 12 apostles, their 13th replacement for Judas, and the "apostle born out of due season"--Paul (Saul of Tarsus)--were all Jews. The first assembly of the church consisted of Jews in Judaea (Judah, where the Jews got their descriptive name). When the church in Judaea was persecuted, these Jews scattered to foreign cities, preaching the gospel of Christ wherever they went.

(It reminds me of recent comments by black congressional members accusing the George W. Bush administration of being racist toward Haiti, because black Haitians rebelled against other black Haitians, and we did nothing to stop it. Even if the Administration favored the ousting of Aristide, you could hardly call that racist. We favored some black folks over other black folks, and that makes us racist?!?)

Hollywood was at first against Gibson's film, jumping on the bandwagon along with militant Jews and liberal "Christians" to condemn it. When the bucks started rolling in, their criticism became muted. They admire Gibson's successful "marketing" strategies. They talk of how he pumped up controversy to sell his movie. What they seem to forget is that a stolen early manuscript of the film was used by critics to fan the flames of controversy. His enemies started the controversy that they now say he used to sell the film.

Furthermore, the Christian element of American society is starved for Bible-based movies. We grow sick of the steady diet of cops-and-robbers, or of young lovers fornicating, or of jaded lovers committing adultery. We are tired of the shoot-em-up, blow-em-up world of druggies and their suppliers. We are tired of every movie that we attend being laced with profanity and dirty words. We are sick of Christians being depicted as crazed wackos, hypocrites, and buffoons. Most of all, we are tired of our Lord being portrayed as confused, lascivious, and weak.

The liberal "Christians" want to mold Jesus into whatever their current image of Him is. They want Him to condone whatever fleshly desires they pursue at the moment. Unfortunately for them, Jesus is "the same yesterday, today, and forever". He is our rock, and the unmovable our anchor of our souls. These modern Christians would have Him be moldable sand, or a loosed ship floating on the tide of current trends and fads. This not the Jesus of the Bible, and they resent that. The main criticism of Gibson's film is that it too closely follows the scriptures!

The Bible concludes all under sin, whether Jew or Gentile. The Jewish leadership delivered Jesus to be crucified, and demanded his death. The Roman procurator, Pontius Pilate, allowed his soldiers to carry it out. Both Jew and Gentile were guilty, according to God's infinitely wise plan. Many Jews and Gentiles alike did not desire the death of this innocent man. But, because we all sin, He died to set us free from those sins. That salvation was offered to the Jews first, then to the Gentiles. Salvation is for all. That is the message that people fear--"go, and sin no more"!

Christians Are Addicted To Entertainment

Television shows are getting worse and worse. Vulgar language and curse words abound. Sex is the main theme to most shows, and is even laced throughout situation comedies, dramas--and even sports shows. Violence is rampant. Murder, mayhem, fighting, shooting, stabbing, strangling, are served up daily. Lying, cheating, and stealing are presented as the American norm. The "reality" shows are based upon lying, deceit, cheating, and selfishness.

Now, homosexuality is being show-cased on television.

Hollywood has always influenced the culture. As has recently become apparent in their bashing of our moderately conservative President George W. Bush, most actors and actresses in Hollywood are liberal and left-leaning. Why do these pretentious people hate conservatives and Christians so much?

We see them on the big screen at the movies, or sit glued to our television sets to see what they will show us next. We are enthralled and impressed. They are "stars", "icons", idols, gods and goddesses. All these terms have been used to describe them. Astrologers worship the stars; an icon is an idol god; gods and goddesses require worship and obedience. The American public, including those who profess Christianity, are more than willing to bow to these gods.

Why do these men and women attack America, its interests, and its righteous people? They seek ponderous laws to burden Christians, to stop worship of God through Christ, and to remove any mention of God and Christ from the public arena. At the same time, they say that we should be free to do anything we like, such as: murder the innocent unborn babies in their mothers' wombs; commit fornication and adultery; engage in homosexuality; take "recreational" drugs legally; forcibly take property, wealth, and prosperity from some to distribute to others; teach the children all manner of sin, and that feeling good about oneself is the ultimate goal of public education.

We are already reaping the bitter harvest of young men and women who can barely read and write, and who think that the world owes them a living. We see young people foregoing marriage to live together. We see sexual activity, including homosexuality, being urged upon our high school students. We see single parents, and homosexual parents, and are told that these are commendable ways to live as "families".

Hollywood has always promoted these changes in the culture by introducing us to them through movies and television shows. Adultery was played out on the big screen in the early days of movies, as was fornication. Women were shown exposing their nakedness for the world to see. Drinking was also heavily promoted, along with cigarette smoking. Why?

The Hollywood crowd has always tried to justify their ungodliness by exposing the general public to their vile and immoral lifestyles. They knew--and know--that if they can project their corrupt ways into the eyes and ears (and minds) of Americans, they can win acceptance of their indecent and destructive lifestyles.

Christians once stood as a roadblock to that agenda. However, over time, the morals of professed Christians have eroded. Many now embrace the Hollywood lifestyle, or at least proclaimed that "what they do is none of my business". That's what they wanted--public approval of their ungodly habits.

I urge you to get rid of your television sets. Stop watching the soap operas, the situation comedies, the reality shows, the dramas--all the filth and garbage. Even the so-called news is nothing more than thinly disguised liberal commentary on almost all the networks--commercial and cable. Fox News, at this time, comes the closest to providing real news--and even they report only what they want us to think is "news".

Christians need to rejoin the real world. there are people who haven't heard the gospel of Christ preached. There are people who are hurting financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If we sit at home in front of the television set, soaking up greed, murder, sex, unbridled ambition, and all manner of immorality, who is going to take care of the needy? "You did it to me, when you did to the least of these", said our Lord Jesus. What are you doing with your time?

More than anything else, it is about the money. They want yours. Television, radio, magazines, newspapers, billboards, home shopping channels, sports shows, and now, even the movies at the theaters have one thing in common--they all want your money. The filthy rich want to stay filthy and get richer, and they want you to fuel their lifestyles. Think about that the next time that you sit down in front of the TV or the silver screen.

You are eagerly paying to expose yourself to every imaginable sort of sin and crime in the world. You are wasting your time on a world of make-believe. You are numbing your mind to godliness, and are gradually being absorbed into the vile, decadent world of Hollywood and its "icons". While you are being entertained, people are suffering.

Make the right choice--quit giving your money, your mind, and your soul to the obscene abusers and takers who wish only to impoverish and control you.

Why Democrats Fear Conservative Judges

Why won't the Democrats on the Senate judiciary committee allow a full Senate up-or-down floor vote on President Bush's nominees?

For two years this small handful of Democrats has held President Bush's judicial nominees hostage, by refusing to allow the full Senate to vote "Yes" or "No" on the nominations. This is unprecedented in the history of this country. This group has stooped to new partisan lows to prevent these votes.

I listened to them today on the news, making remarks like, "Why are the Republicans wasting time on judges when there are young men and women dying in Iraq?" and "Why are the Republicans wasting time on judges when the country's business goes unfinished?"

The Republicans gave lame responses like, "We're just trying to shine a light on what these Democrats are doing to the President's judicial nominees."

What they should have said, was, "If you would end this two-year-old filibuster of the President's nominees, and allow the Senate a full up-or-down vote, we can get on with the war in Iraq, and the nation's business." And, "If you would stop your obstructionist attempts to keep the courts left-leaning, and allow the people who represent America to vote on the nominees, the will of the people will have been served."

The Democrats refer to every strong conservative judicial nominee as "being out of the mainstream". This is blatantly untrue. All the Democrats are trying to do is to preserve their socialist, leftist agenda. They want to persecute and bully Christians, removing all Christian practices from public view. At the same time, they champion other religions. They want abortion, homosexuality, legal use of illegal drugs, gun control, massive welfare and bureaucracy, a fractured nation split along ethnic lines, and government control of people's lives, deaths, and incomes. They want to tax and spend. The Supreme Court has been skewed left for several decades, bringing a "rewriting" of the U.S. Constitution according to their leftist standards.

Americans are mostly against abortion, special rights for homosexuals, gun control, out-of-control welfare, wasted tax money, over-taxation, and the things for which these leftist fanatics stand. Who is out of the mainstream here? It is clearly the Democrats.

In every election, we need to send them packing until they can no longer obstruct what the American public wants. We need to write editors of newspapers and magazines, post messages online, send e-mails, and generate an all-American, grass-roots effort to see the will of the people done.

Removing God From America

We are removing God from America. Or more accurately, we are removing America from God.

What happened to our freedom of religion? The liberals and leftists are rapidly pursuing a doctrine of "freedom from religion"! They are maintaining that, not only should all mention of God and Christ be removed from government, it should also be removed from any public forum. They keep repeating, and yelling in a rising crescendo, that the U.S. Constitution demands "separation of church and state". In fact, it does not.

The Constitution of the United States of America forbids the government from establishing a state-sponsored religion. This was in response to the problems caused by both Roman Catholic and Protestant governments, in particular, who had ruled nations by exerting religious conformance through government mandate.

The Constitution, in the same clause, forbids the government from stopping the people of this country from worshipping as they see fit. Nowhere does it state that "church and state are separate", and nowhere is it suggested that the name of God forever be stricken from the public record!

The founders of this country were religious--primarily, Christian. They made frequent references to God, the Maker, the Almighty, a Higher Power, and a Creator. Their speeches and writings were plentifully sprinkled with this language. The leftists of today deny these facts, and seek to rewrite history.

Even as our congress and our President acknowledge God, and ask Him to bless our great country, the leftists--the atheists, the socialists, and the communists--work through the United States judiciary system to stifle any acknowledgement of God in public. The courts are throwing out the laws of our duly elected law-makers, and are reinterpreting the Constitution to suit their own devious purposes.

Let us pray to God that this tide of atheism is reversed before it is too late. Let us spread the word of what is happening all across the country in our courts. Let us speak out in public, in letters to the editors of newspapers, on Web sites and chat rooms on the Internet, in e-mails and letters to our elected representatives--we shall not sit quietly and idly by while our freedom of religion is snuffed out.

The liberals and leftists in the U.S. Senate are filibustering President Bush's judicial nominees, and are using any tactic at their disposal to prevent a vote of the full Senate on these nominees. They are frightened that a majority of our Senators will favor with an affirmative vote those good men and women that are from conservative backgrounds. They are afraid to let our elected officials speak for us--why?

They know that the majority of Americans, and the majority of our elected representatives in the House and the Senate, will favor judges who will not rewrite the Constitution, and will not legislate from the bench. We are supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people!

The role of the judiciary is not to make law, but to make sure that the law is applied as it was intended. The liberals on the courts are ignoring that role, and are instead changing the law to suit their own whims and political ideology. Our government is supposed to consist of checks and balances. However, no one seems able to stop the judges and their errant actions--not the U.S. Congress, and not the President. Something is seriously broken in our government!

If the activist liberals are replaced on the U.S. Supreme Court, the liberals fear that the atrocity of abortion will be declared illegal. They fear that more emphasis will be placed on human beings than on animals and land. They fear that Christian charity will replace an unwieldy, out-of-control bureaucracy--that poor Americans will be given a hand-up, and not a hand-out. They fear that parents will send their children to private schools, or home-school them, so that they cannot brainwash them in the government public school system! They fear that immigrants will be admitted to the country only if they are legal, and not illegal! They fear that homosexuals will not be allowed to claim marriage, and that marriage will continue to be only between a man and a woman! In other words, they fear that they will lose their power-base!

If you and I do not take a stand, and if we do not speak out--our enemies will have removed God from America. Once God is removed from America, America will have been removed from God.

The Holy War

Our leaders tell us there is no "holy war" being waged by America against Muslims--and that is true. What they don't tell us is that Muslims have declared what they call "Holy War"--Jihad--against America and other non-Muslims.

We declare "war on terrorism", while Muslims declare war on Americans and other non-Muslims. Where did these terrorists come from, who are they? We are told that they are Muslim fanatics, right-wing, fundamental extremists. We are told that "mainstream" Muslims are peaceable, friendly people.

Yet, when the United States of America, and its coalition of willing partners, attacked Iraq to take out the brutal Saddam Hussein regime which was torturing and killing its own fellow Muslims, hundreds of thousands of Muslims around the world crowded the streets, calling for Jihad--"Holy War"--against America, Britain, Australia, and their allies.

Even Iraqis who had fled to other countries to escape the brutality of Saddam Hussein suddenly had a change of heart, and flooded into Iraq to help their "Muslim brothers" repel the invasion by the "infidels"--the non-Muslims.

The truth is that the Muslim agenda is to dominate the entire world. It lies at the root of their religion. Unlike Christians, who hope to turn the world to God through preaching Jesus as Savior of the world, and through Christian service by supplying food, education, and medicine to the world's poor, these Muslims will kill those "infidels" who refuse the Muslim religion. Through this means, they figure, the entire world will soon be Muslim, and therefore will be obedient to God--or, Allah.

What a contrast! Christians seek to bring the world to God through love, while the Muslims seek to bring the world to Allah through rape, torture, death, and destruction. There is a "Holy War" being waged--by the Muslims. Christians everywhere, as well as democracies and freedom-loving people, need to be aware of this.

It did not start September 11, 2001. Murders, mutilations, and other atrocities have been taking place around the world for decades. Names that should be familiar even to those who don't follow much news are: Kosovo, Bosnia, Chechnya, Kashmir, Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, and others. These all have one thing in common--Muslims in those countries are killing non-Muslims, and even fellow Muslims who disagree with them, in a wholesale slaughter.

I just thought that you should know--there is a "Holy War"--but we didn't start it!

The US Supreme Court Battle

Democrats are desperately fighting President George W. Bush's nomination of Miguel Estrada to the Circuit Court. They fear that Estrada is conservative, and may wind up on the Supreme Court. They have vowed to fight, not only Estrada, but any nominee that appears conservative.

Why are the Democrats opposed to any conservative justices on the Supreme Court? Because, since the Supreme Court tilted to the left a few decades ago, they have "legislated from the bench", throwing out good laws passed by both house of Congress and signed by the President. That is not the job of the Supreme Court--that is the job of the lawmakers in Congress. The job of the Supreme Court is to uphold the law, not revise to suit liberal thinking.

Conservative justices on the Supreme Court tend to uphold the constitution of the United States of America, and the laws passed by Congress. Since liberals know that the majority of Americans are not with them, legislating from the bench is the only way they can force through their agenda. Americans won't elect enough of these far-left liberals to pass the laws that they want.

What do they want? Abortion, fornication, adultery, divorce, homosexuality, legalization of illegal drugs--in short, the right to chip away at America and its culture. They detest stable families--because that shows them to be the licentious people that they are. Only by breaking down the family can they gain acceptance when they perform all their immoral and indecent activities. After all, if "anything goes", who cares what anyone does?

They hate true Christian religion, because that shows them for the hypocritical and ungodly sort that they are. Jesus said it best when He declared that darkness hates light. Liberals hate conservatives, because conservatives advocate accountability.

Conservatives on the Supreme Court would backtrack from legislating from the bench, opting instead to uphold the law. That is what the Democrats fear--the rule of law. But without the rule of law, we would have anarchy and chaos.

What the liberals don't understand is that the very thing that they desire would be their undoing. Without law, they would no longer have the freedom to do what they want--instead, they would be at the mercy of the nearest bully or the meanest tyrant.

America needs conservatives on the Supreme Court! Let your liberal senators and representatives know that! Tell them to stop blocking President Bush's nominations. After all, they still have the right to vote against any nominees that are advanced for consideration.

Mass Murder Of Babies

Statistics show that Americans murder 4,000 babies per day in America--we call it abortion. We call it legal, we call it women's health, and we call it a "woman's right to choose". Odd how we never finish that phrase, "a woman's right to choose to murder her unborn baby in her womb".

If 4,000 murders per day were taking place among any other group of people in the world, there would be shock, disbelief, and outrage. There would be a demand that something be done immediately. There would be a call for us to throw all our resources at the problem.

When it comes to abortion, where is the shock, the disbelief, and the outrage? Where are the demands that something be done immediately to stop this "problem"?

I urge every caring person, Christian or otherwise, who is as shocked and saddened as I am by this atrocity right in our midst, to write your senators and congressmen, and the President of the United States, and tell them that we must stop this awful murderous practice immediately.

Liberal Agenda Of The Courts

The Democrats are doing it again--they are blocking another conservative justice nominated for appointment to the Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Democrats are now claiming that an "ideological balance" must be maintained in the courts. They are afraid that conservatives on the courts, especially the Supreme Court, will result in their losing ground on liberal issues.

Odd that they suddenly favor balance, since the courts have been stacked with liberals for decades! They are not in favor of balance, they just want to keep abortion legal, allow homosexual "marriages", to push for legalization of illegal drugs, to institute "euthanasia", to keep unions in charge of workers, and allow the country to become "Balkanized"--that is, divided into different cultural areas that will ultimately wish to break away from the United States of America. On top of this, they want to socialize the country, keeping us under the thumb of a tax-and-spend bureaucracy.

The majority of American people want none of these situations, but the Democrats continually maintain their policy through the judiciary--known as "legislating from the bench". The courts override the duly-elected representatives of the people, establishing a liberal agenda against the will of the American people.

Write your senators and representatives now, and tell them how disgusted you are with the liberal courts. Write Daschle, Leahy, and the other Democrats who keep blocking conservative nominees.

In every election, oust the liberals, and elect conservatives, in order to allow conservative justices the opportunity for a full senate vote. Even many Democrats would vote for some of them, if they could ever make it out of the liberal Democrat-controlled committee. They deserve the chance for an up or down vote on their nominations.

Are you as sick of the liberal blockade of conservative interests as I am? Then do something about it!

Killing Christians

For several years there have been reports out of Indonesia, Nigeria, Sudan, and other nations, about Muslims killing Christians. Our government, and many of our Christian brethren, have been quiet on these atrocities for too long.

The liberal media, politicians, and educational elite have squelched any talk on the matter. While Christians are denounced as "intolerant", "homophobic", "Islamaphobic", "hate-filled", and other derogatory terms, Muslims are lauded as "strong", "brave", and "freedom-fighters". (The irony is that, were these Muslims to gain power in the U.S.A., these same liberals would be some of the first to be beheaded or forced to flee the country because of their private practices, such as abortion, homosexuality, and fornication.)

The truth is that Muslims around the world are killing Christians and other non-Muslims, and using death, destruction, and violence to expand their borders, as well as their religion. Theirs is a mission, not only to spread Islam around the world, but to make all peoples of the world citizens of Islamic government, similar to what the Taliban had established in Afghanistan. Their goal is to have the whole world under Islamic rule.

George W. Bush understands the terror of these people, and will do well to pursue the war on terrorism around the world, and for as long as it takes.

The rest of the Islamic and Arabic world are indicted by their unwillingness to condemn the goals and the practices of the Islamic extremists. This smacks of silent support for the terrorists. In fact, it is no secret that these Muslims and Arabs support the extremists behind the scenes, and no doubt have a secret wish to see the world become Muslim.

Please write your President, senators, and representatives, encouraging them to continue the pursuit of terrorism wherever it rears its ugly head.

Slippery Slopes

I took a college course in writing, in which the concept of a "slippery slope" was ridiculed as a contrivance. It was said that the "slippery slope" idea is born of small minds and lacks credibility. I beg to differ.

When I first heard talk of "no-fault" divorce back in the early 1960s, it was touted as a way for women and children in abusive relationships to escape with their lives. Now a man or woman can get a divorce for any reason--or no reason at all, since no one is "at fault". Families are torn apart, while confusion, hurt, and despair reign in these broken and patchwork "families". Men are abandoned by their spouses for no reason, with the ex-wife taking the children, the house, and half the income--while going off to "marry" another man. The abandoned ex-husbands are often devastated, their lives destroyed, their children taken, their incomes used to support the newly happy couples!

When I first heard about Planned Parenthood, and sex education in the schools, it was stated that this was a good thing. Unknowing children would be educated as to how pregnancy takes place, and would avoid sexual relationships, knowing that pregnancy and STDs (we called them "venereal diseases" back then) could result. Instead, we got the sexual revolution, and an increase in promiscuity, STDs, unwed mothers, and illegitimate babies.

We were told that legalizing abortion was necessary to save lives: abortion would be rare, used only to save the life of the mother during life-threatening situations. Later, we were told that more women needed legalized abortions, in order to save the lives of women who were having abortions in back alleys with rusty coat-hangers. Instead of prosecuting these women as the murderers that they were, we instead legalized abortion. Now we allow children to be almost out of the birth canal, then we say it is okay to gouge their spines and suck their brains out. We call it "partial-birth abortion". Abortion is seen now as a "woman's right to choose" to murder her unborn child.

We are now being told that legalizing euthanasia is the merciful thing to do--put the pain-ridden, dying sick folks out of their misery! This is unconscionable to begin with, but this slippery slope will lead us to murdering the old, the sick, and the "imperfect" in order to free us of their burden and cost. Just as the unborn are destroyed on the whim of the mother, the elderly, the extremely sick, and the "imperfect" will be destroyed on the whim of their caretakers.

We are also told that legalizing marijuana is the sane thing to do. It is almost harmless, everyone's doing it, and it makes no sense to tie up scarce police resources jailing harmless pot-heads. Once marijuana is legalized, drug proponents will push to legalize cocaine, heroin, and whatever the current drug of choice may be. When we are surrounded by doped-up citizens harassing, and even killing, their neighbors, we will demand higher taxes to provide more police and medical resources to treat these druggies.

We are told that homosexuals are a special class of people, needing special rights and protections. We are told that they must have equal access to "marriage partner" benefits, and the right to a marriage certificate. We are told that children will not be emotionally and psychologically harmed by having two female, or two male, "parents". We were told the same thing about no harm coming to the children of divorce--until their troubled outcomes weighed heavily on our society, and now we seek to heal the trauma with psychiatrists and social workers.

We took prayer out of public schools, and now we seek to take the names of God and Jesus out of the American vocabulary altogether. Will not the persecution of the religious be next? Why not our execution?

We took the teaching of morality out of the public schools, and now they teach sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, and socialism to our children. Honesty is rapidly vanishing, and we live in a culture of "moral relativism", in which anything goes. When we wish an alternative such as private schools, or home-schooling, we are accused of trying to destroy the public school system in the name of religion.

I could go on, but you get my point. Watch out for the slippery slopes! The frog boils when the heat is turned up slowly!
