Blog Thoughts Afire! 07-28-2004 The big DNC Convention is underway in Boston! Kerry is trying to paint himself as an All-American, mainstream citizen who loves baseball, Mom, and apple pie! He is a socialist, and the most liberal member of the Senate (even beats Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy!) He prefers to talk to terrorists rather than challenge them militarily. I consider myself a pacifist, and hate war. But then I am not running for President of the United States of America, either. You can't lead a country, and not defend its citizens. Kerry will not defend America. Kerry wants to be all things to all people. You can't do that. It has never worked, and never will. He has no moral compass. He is no leader. 07-15-2004 My heart is not in the blogging any more. My health is less that what I would like, I am busier at work and at home, and I just found out this week that I am losing my job! Meanwhile, the Butler review of the evidence used by Tony Blair as a basis to take the UK into the war in Iraq says that Saddam Hussein did indeed seek yellowcake uranium in Nigeria. This shows that the talk-show circus by Joe Wilson was just one more Democrat lie, one more unfounded and vicious attack on President Bush. As usualy, the "mainstream media" is ignoring the story. They splashed it all over their headlines and talk shows when he made the illegitmate charges. Where are they now that the truth comes out? 07-07-2004 Rich men Kerry & Edwards are trying to pass themselves off as working class and farmers. The are trying to paint a picture of themselves as champions of the middle class-which they are not! This is noted by some analysts to be the most liberal Presidential-hopeful ticket ever advanced by the Democrats! Don't be fooled. Kerry is not a farmer, and Edwards is not a middle-class working man. Kerry is rich from two marriages to rich women, and Edwards made his millions suing large companies, thereby driving up costs for all of us! 07-06-2004 Kerry picked Edwards to be his runningmate, in order to secure votes in the South, and in order to have someone who can speak lucidly out campaigning for him. The Howard Dean scream, the Ted Kennedy unbridled vitriol, and the Al Gore angry rant were not doing him any favors. Kerry bumbles his way through rambling speeches. Edwards will no doubt pick up a few votes for him, especially in the South. It amazes me that their platform is still merely, "Vote for us--we are not Bush/Cheney!" What losers! Which is what I hope that they do in November! 07-01-2004 Saddam Hussein is about to suffer the fate of his own making. The Iraqis want to try him according to his own laws. Cruel and merciless as he was, this does not bode well for Mr. Hussein. Kerry is lying low. His handlers are finally understanding that his poll numbers go up when he shuts up, and down when he speaks. Instead, Michael Moore and Al Gore are cranking out false accusations daily, with George Soros' millions driving them forward. Nader is scaring the liberals. They want him gone from the race. Iraq is sovereign. We don't know what the future holds, but once again, our great President George W. Bush has done a wonderful job. Speaking of which, he has rallied NATO to help with Iraq and to do more in Afghanistan. He has also called attention to the genocide of Christians and other non-Muslims in Sudan. Way to go, Mr. President! 07-02-2004 Kerry is setting records in fund-raising by a Democrat. Please donate to President Bush's campaign for re-election now! More jobs added to the economy. The Dems and the liberal media, in order to further bash the President, portray the glass as half-empty, since it is not the number that economists had wished for. But it is still a gain. The economy is steadily improving. Unemployment is not rising. |

Now that the dust from the 2000 Presidential election has settled, we need to lobby for: (1) Election day should a national holiday to allow an equal chance for all voters to go to the polls, not just union members, welfare recipients, and retirees. (2) All polls must be closed in the entire United States before news people can start projecting winners. (3) News stations, newspapers, and magazines must state their party affiliation or leaning. Opinions must be identified as such and not passed off as "news". (4) In close elections, there must be a
four-member canvassing board to review hand counts. They should consist of two
representatives of each party whose candidate stands to win or lose on the strength of the
recount. A minimum of three people must decide for whom the ballot was cast, else it is
rejected as a non-vote.
